Hello, my name is Pamela Potgieter (Not Anderson)

I am a multidisciplinary artist and illustrator based in Cape Town, South Africa.

I studied at the Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography, and have a BA degree in Visual Communications, with illustration as my major. I work with a range of mixed media, but I am particularly interested in drawing, collage and typography.

I am fortunate enough to have grown up surrounded by extraordinary natural environments, and have been able to spend a lot of time getting to know and understand the ocean in particular. This has played a big role in influencing the nature and subject matter of my work.

I am currently exploring my place in the world: where I fit in; what it means to be a woman in South Africa; how I can do my part to preserve our incredible planet.
